18 ch teaux de la Loire rejoignent Google Arts & Culture et y apportent plus de 2.000 documents et 46 expos virtuelles

Peu de temps après l’annonce de son 1.000ème partenaire et celle de la refonte de son site internet devenu Google Arts & Culture, l’Institut culturel Google a annoncé le 5 juillet 2016 son partenariat avec 18 ch teaux de la Loire. Avec plus de 2.000 documents et reproductions d’œuvres intégrées à la plateforme, ce groupement des ch teaux de la Loire devient le premier contributeur français sur la plateforme mondiale.

L’internaute peut ainsi découvrir plus de 2.000 objets et documents qui racontent aussi bien les traditions de la vènerie que le travail d’ingénieur de Léonard de Vinci. On y trouve aussi une collection d’objets insolites comme un biberon en étain du XVIIIe siècle. Ce ne sont pas moins de 46 expositions virtuelles qui ont été mises en ligne sur le site Google Arts et Culture.

De plus, 49 visites virtuelles sont disponibles pour ces monuments et jardins. Elles utilisent la technologie Street View, qui permet de cartographier à 360 ° le parcours de visite mais également des lieux inaccessibles au public comme la chambre de Léonard de Vinci au Clos Lucé ou les souterrains du ch teau de Meung-sur-Loire.

Des vues aériennes à la verticale et à 45 ° ont aussi été réalisées sur sept ch teaux dont Chambord ou Chenonceau.

«Chambord c’est d’abord une image très forte, c’est une icône, et ce que j’espère c’est que ça donnera l’envie de venir visiter », souligne Jean d’Haussonville, directeur du ch teau de Chambord.

Google profite également de ce partenariat pour essayer son nouvel outil: la Art Camera. Cet appareil photo prend des milliers de prises d’une oeuvre pour former une image unique en ultra haute définition (plus de 1.000 mégapixels). Le résultat permet de découvrir tous les détails – invisibles à l’oeil nu – d’une oeuvre d’art. 56 oeuvres ont pu être numérisées gr ce à cette technologie, parmi lesquelles le plafond oriental du Ch teau de Villandry, la célèbre Tenture de l’Apocalypse d’Angers ou encore les fresques de l’Abbaye de Fontevraud

Les 2.112 oeuvres des Ch teaux de la Loire consultables en ligne représentant une augmentation de 48% du nombre total de contributions par des institutions culturelles françaises selon le baromètre établi par le CLIC France.
