Après son succès italien, le film « Le Musée du Vatican 3D » débarque bientôt sur les grands écrans français et américains

Le public italien vient de prouver qu’il existe une demande forte pour mettre en valeur les trésors nationaux sur grand écran. Le film « les musées du Vatican en 3D » a ainsi battu tous les records de recettes en récoltant 312 000 $ lors de sa sortie dans 150 salles, battant même tous les films sortis le même jour. Le succès est tel que les cinémas ont demandé de le programmer à nouveau pour le week-end suivant et que le film sera bientôt sur les grands écrans français, anglais et américains.

« En 1506, sous le pontificat de Jules II, un agriculteur a découvert une statue » ainsi démarre le film et ainsi naquit la plus grande collection d’art de l’histoire. Le film explore cette histoire et en présente les chefs d’oeuvres des maitres Giotto, Michel-Ange, Léonard de Vinci ou Caravage.

Musées du Vatican 3D est une production originale de Sharmill Films, avec Sky 3D et Sky Arte HD, et est distribué en salle par la société italienne Nexo Digital. Il a été tourné en utilisant les mêmes techniques HD 4K / 3D Ultra utilisés par James Cameron et Tim Burton.

Après son succès italien, Nexo Digital lance un tour du monde des projections du film les musées du Vatican 3D. Le film est actuellement projeté en Australie. La prochaine étape en sera le Royaume-Uni et l’Irlande le 18 novembre 2014. Le film fera sa première aux à‰tats-Unis le 10 décembre 2014.

Le 9 décembre 2014, après le Vatican, Nexo Digital démarrera la distribution dans les salles italiennes du film sur Matisse, produit en partenariat avec le MoMA et la Tate Modern.
