« Et si je te raconte… »: le Centre Pompidou-Metz lance son podcast

Le nouveau podcast du Centre Pompidou-Metz invite l’auditeur et le visiteur dans les coulisses de ses expositions. Après un premier épisode consacré à  Suzanne Valadon en avril 2023, l’épisode #2 dévoile les coulisses de l’exposition « Elmgreen & Dragset, Bonne Chance », présentée au musée du 10 juin 2023 au 1er avril 2024. L’épisode #2 qui est sorti le 31 juillet 2023 porte sur l’exposition « Worldbuilding » consacrée aux jeux vidéos.

Le nouveau podcast du Centre Pompidpou-Metz « et si je te raconte … » donne l’occasion de découvrir durant 25 minutes l’envers des expositions, à  travers les voix de tous ceux qui travaillent en coulisse à  la mise en place d’événements artistiques majeurs : commissaires d’exposition, chercheurs, scénographes, éditeurs, régisseurs, restaurateurs… Tous donnent vie aux expositions en prenant des décisions guidées par une visée artistique, esthétique, historique.

« L’art parvient à  l’oreille de l’auditeur sous la forme d’une parole vivante et polysémique, rythmée par des anecdotes décalées, des moments poétiques et drôlatiques qui rappellent le contexte collégial, intellectuel, humain et joyeux d’o๠naissent les oeuvres et leurs expositions » explique l’institution.

Réalisé par Jeanne Dreyfus Daboussy, chaque podcast donne la parole aux commissaires les plus renommés du monde de l’art français et international : Chiara Parisi, directrice du Centre Pompidou-Metz pour l’exposition « Suzanne Valadon. Un monde à  soi »; Hans Ulrich Obrist, pape de l’art contemporain, pour « Worldbuilding. Arts et jeux vidéo à  l’ère digitale »; Michael Elmgreen et Ingar Dragset, le duo d’artistes internationaux pour « Bonne Chance »; Eric de Chassey, directeur de l’Institut National d’Histoire de l’art pour l’exposition « La Répétition ».

Un épisode spécial sera consacré à  l’architecture du Centre Pompidou-Metz, édifice d’exception imaginé par Shigeru Ban et Jean de Gastines ainsi que son jardin pensé par le paysagiste de renom Gilles Clément.

A propos de la réalisatrice

Jeanne Dreyfus Daboussy est historienne de l’art et documentariste. Elle a enseigné à  Sciences Po Paris et à  Columbia University. Après avoir travaillé au Palais de Tokyo et dans galeries telles que Bugada & Cargnel, Paris, elle est aujourd’hui journaliste et chroniqueuse culture pour Sqool TV et Urbania, ainsi que responsable d’une résidence Art-Sciences à  Saclay, portée par Manifesto, en collaboration avec la Villa Médicis.
