Cet automne, la tate propose deux nouveaux spectacles en direct et en ligne dans le cadre du BMW Tate Live

Le 18 Septembre et le 23 Octobre 2014, les chorégraphes Selma et Sofiane Ouissi et l’artiste Alexandra Bachzetsis présenteront deux nouveaux spectacles en ligne commandés dans le cadre du BMW Tate Live Room.

Pendant le premier spectacle, les deux artistes Selma et Sofiane Ouissi seront situés sur des continents différents et répondront aux mouvements de l’autre, réunis par Skype. L’objectif des performances est de montrer comment les gestes physiques peuvent représenter et créer une identité.

Le frère et la sœur ont déjà utilisé Skype dans leur création Here(s) en 2011-2012 afin de danser ensemble alors qu’ils se trouvaient dans des villes différentes. Pour BMW Tate direct Performance Room, Selma sera à Paris et Sofiane à Londres et ils vont utiliser Skype pour interagir. Pour cette performance, ils seront rejoints par l’artiste numérique Yacine Sebti qui permettra de créer un univers visuel spécifique. La performance sera retransmise en direct sur €‹ €‹la chaà®ne Youtube de la Tate le 18 Septembre 2014, à 20.00.

Dans le second spectacle From A to B via C, la chorégraphe Alexandra Bachzetsis examine l’impact des habitudes physiques empruntés et apprises. La performance se déplace dans des lieux imaginaires, en explorant la façon dont notre corps intègrent des compétences, traduisent des mouvements et créent nos identités.

Le travail, impliquant trois danseurs, a été créé à l’origine pour un thé tre, puis transformé pour une performance live dans un espace d’exposition. Pour la performance du 23 Octobre 2014, le travail a été transformé de nouveau pour un public en ligne.

Des spectacles commandés exclusivement pour une diffusion en ligne

BMW Tate direct Performance Room est un programme unique et pionnier de spectacles commandés exclusivement pour un public en ligne. Les spectacles, diffusés sur le canal Youtube de la Tate, peuvent être simultanément vus par un public international à travers les différents fuseaux horaires du monde à 20.00 heures au Royaume-Uni et 15.00 heures sur la côte Est de l’Amérique, 21h00 en Europe continentale et 23h00 en Russie.

Ce format novateur offre au public international l’occasion de découvrir des œuvres totalement nouvelles en direct et de participer à une discussion en ligne sur le travail des artistes. Les spectateurs sont encouragés à discuter entre via les médias sociaux pendant le spectacle et à poser des questions à l’artiste ou le curateur lors d’une session Q & A en direct sur le site web TateLive; en utilisant #BMWTateLive, Tate Facebook ou Tate Google+.

Chaque performance en ligne est archivé et disponible pour un visionnement en ligne après l’événement en direct.

BMW Tate Live est un partenariat à long terme entre BMW et Tate qui propose des spectacles et des événements novateurs en direct, incluant la diffusion en direct sur €‹ €‹Internet de spectacles, des séminaires et des conférences. BMW a également été partenaire du Guggenheim BMW Lab.
