Des journées européennes du Patrimoine sous le signe du numérique

Le Ministère de la Culture et de la Communication profite des Journées Européennes du Patrimoine (JEP) de ce weekend du 18 septembre 2010 pour mettre le numérique au service du patrimoine. Durant la semaine, plusieurs dispositifs de visites virtuelles en ligne ont ainsi été présentés dans le hall du ministère sur grand écran ou sur des postes de consultation. Au delà des JEP, le bureau du ministre, les grottes de Lascaux ou encore les appartements de Marie-Antoinette ouvrent ainsi désormais leurs porte toute l’année !

Lifting numérique pour les journées du patrimoine

Les journées du patrimoine attirent un grand nombre de visiteurs et génère souvent de longues files d’attente devant certains monuments, ouverts pour l’occasion. Avec le numérique, une nouvelle alternative : l’e-visite ! Le site internet des journées du patrimoine présente de nouveaux dispositifs en ligne pour découvrir des lieux comme si vous y étiez. Les internautes peuvent ainsi se projeter dans le bureau du Ministre de la Culture, rue Valois, et faire une visite enrichie.

De nombreux contenus historiques, scientifiques, anecdotiques, commentés par Frédérique Mitterrand offrent une vision panoramique du Palais-Royal. Ainsi l’internaute a accès à plus de 270 photographies légendées, 160 œuvres d’art commentées ainsi que 20 films courts.

Une médiathèque virtuelle regroupe l’ensemble des contenus proposés pour la première fois : photos, vidéos des œuvres, classées par lieu ou par type d’œuvre (meubles, luminaires, objets d’art, textile ou encore arts. Chaque lieu est présenté en HD et la visite à 720 ° permet une immersion intuitive. Le Ministère propose également une application pour Smartphone et Tablette de sa visite virtuelle.

Le patrimoine en quelques clics

Le site internet des JEP renvoie également vers la nouvelle plateforme Culture Labs, qui fait écho à l’engagement ministériel et notamment son soutien à l’innovation numérique. Sur Culture Labs, les internautes peuvent ainsi découvrir les projets expérimentaux de valorisation des contenus culturels numériques soutenus par le Ministère, via la Mission recherche et technologie / MRT.

UN nouveau portail / moteur de recherches permet également aux internautes d’accéder en quelques clics à plus de 4 millions de documents et 2,8 millions d’images à partir une quarantaine de bases de données et des centaines d’expositions virtuelles et de sites Internet.

Les JEP sur les réseaux sociaux

Un Blog et un groupe facebook, qui rassemble déjà plus de 1 500 personnes, permettent aux internautes de suivre l’actualité sur le sujet. Pour les plus joueurs un quizz est également mis en ligne et en partenariat ViaMichelin, un jeu permet de tester ses connaissances sur le patrimoine français !

Le site des JEP offre également l’édito du ministre en langue des signes ainsi qu’un dossier de presse interactif. Le même site met en avant quelques visites virtuelles culturelles récemment lancées par des établissements publics :

Une application mobile pour iPhone

Le Ministère de la Culture et de la Communication a également lancé sa première application iPhone / iPad en s’appuyant sur l’outil CulturePocket, développé par la société SmartApps.

L’application gratuite propose l’ensemble de la programmation officielle des JEP c’est à dire tous les lieux, tous les évènements, dans toute la France. CulturePocket offre un panorama complet des lieux participants à proximité, une sélection des lieux remarquables suivant le thème de l’année 2010 « Les Grands Hommes » ou encore la liste des applications iPhone dédiées aux lieux ou expositions. L’option de géolocalisation permet d’identifier les lieux et évènements aux alentours et actuellement ouverts à la visite. Une recherche par mots-clé est également disponible.

CulturePocket est une réalisation de SmartApps pour le Ministère de la Culture et de la Communication. CulturePocket est une application labellisée « Proxima Mobile ». L’initiative Proxima Mobile est coordonnée par la Délégation aux Usages de l’Internet et vise à créer le premier portail européen de services d’intérêt général sur mobile.
