Edward Munch sur iPhone et à la Pinacothèque de Paris

La Pinacothèque de Paris consacre sa nouvelle exposition au peintre Edward Munch. Cette rétrospective « Anti cri » (du 19 février 2010 au 18 juillet 2010) a pour objectif de présenter la richesse de l’oeuvre de l’artiste jusqu’à maintenant célèbre pour son oeuvre le Cri. Comme à son habitude, la Pinacothèque met en place des dispositifs numériques pour accompagner le visiteur dans sa (re)découverte de Munch.

Réservation en ligne

La Pinacothèque met en avant son exposition sur son site internet et réitère son principe de réservation en ligne. Le tarif du billet coupe file est à 11,50 ‚¬ mais certains publics (tels que les 12-25 ans, étudiants, familles nombreuses…) peuvent bénéficier d’un tarif préférentiel.

Un guide audio en Podcast

L’institution renouvelle également son téléchargement podcast et propose un contenu audio de 9 minutes (contre 44 minutes pour son ancienne exposition sur l’Age d’or hollandais de Rembrandt à Vermeer »). Ce podcast permet d’avoir une visite commentée de l’exposition à travers une sélection de 9 œuvres. La Pinacothèque choisi ainsi un mode de visite plus dynamique et flexible pour le public qui peut appréhender l’exposition de manière plus intuitive.

Une application iPhone .. payante

Dernier dispositif mis en place dès le 15 février pour les visiteurs : le téléchargement d’une application iPhone à 2,99 ‚¬. Cette application mobile, payante, est naturellement plus complète que le podcast audio gratuit.

Elle contient une introduction par Marc Restellini, directeur de la Pinacothèque de Paris ainsi que le portrait d’Edvard Munch. Elle décrit surtout 49 oeuvres de l’artiste Munch et propose des commentaires pour chacune en français. La navigation fluide et intuitive parmi les œuvres est facilitée par la présentation de type «cover flow ».

Des utilisateurs ont déjà commenté sur les plateformes de téléchargement et saluent l’esthétisme et l’ergonomie réussie de cette application.
Ce guide est également disponible pour les Ipod Touch et a terme, la Pinacothèque entend bien étendre la diffusion des guides de visite sur les autres types de smartphones (Android, BlackBerry, Nokia…).

La Pinacothèque profite de sa visibilité affichage (dans le métro et sur les bus) pour promouvoir son application iPhone.

Enfin précisons à ce titre, la Pinacothèque de Paris devrait très prochainement réaliser une application plus générale qui présenterait l’institution et les moments forts des expositions précédentes.
