Suite aux mesures annoncées par le gouvernement, l’Institut Giacometti a fermé temporairement ses portes dans le 14e arrondissement de Paris mais invite son public à le retrouver en ligne. Avec la programmation #GiacomettiChezVous, l’équipe de la Fondation se mobilise et propose de nouveaux contenus pour faire découvrir l’œuvre d’Alberto Giacometti.

Sur les 130 œuvres que Giacometti réalise entre 1920 et 1935 une quarantaine a disparu. L’exposition « à€ la recherche des oeuvres disparues » a dà» fermer ses portes le 14 février 2020. Chaque jour, le public peut découvrir l’histoire de l’une de ces œuvres inédites évoquées dans l’exposition de l’Institut Giacometti. #2. L’atelier mythique d’Alberto Giacometti

Découvrez le lieu mythique de création d’Alberto Giacometti : son atelier. Situé rue Hippolyte Maindron, d’une surface de 24m2, il fut le lieu de vie et de travail de l’artiste entre le milieu des années 1920 jusqu’à sa mort en 1966. Immortalisé par les plus grands photographes, il est devenu un lieu mythique, témoin de la modernité à Montparnasse.
