Lightroom et la Cité des Sciences proposent une immersion sonore et visuelle dans l’univers de U2 et Coldplay

2 lieux culturels mettent à  l’honneur la musique pop rock en proposant une expérience audio et vidéo immersive. Le centre d’art numérique Lightroom a produit un film autour du dernier album de Coldplay, qui sera diffusé à  Londres, Manchester et Séoul. Le planétarium de la Cité des Sciences diffuse le dimanche un film 360 ° fulldome produit en 2009.

« Entrez dans l’univers de Coldplay A FILM FOR THE FUTURE dans une série limitée de projections exclusives à  360 degrés ». C’est ainsi que le centre d’art immersif de Londres Lightroom invite son public à  venir découvrir « l’accompagnement visuel » de l’album n °1 de Coldplay, Moon Music, qui a été créé par plus de 150 artistes visuels différents  de  45 pays  .

Chaque artiste a reçu une poignée d’extraits musicaux de  Moon Music et a été invité à  créer des visuels correspondants.  Il n’y avait aucune règle ni directive, et aucune connaissance des créations des autres artistes.

Le producteur exécutif Ben Mor, qui a également dirigé Coldplay et Beyoncé dans le clip de « Hymn For The Weekend » en 2016, déclare que le résultat est   « un patchwork kaléidoscopique €“ une tapisserie multimédia de 44 minutes   » . Ben Mor a ajouté: « C’était un immense privilège d’avoir une vue d’ensemble d’un projet aussi ambitieux, de travailler avec autant d’animateurs et de réalisateurs incroyables, tous travaillant indépendamment les uns des autres.  Le film final est tout simplement époustouflant et j’ai h te que les fans de Coldplay le voient ».

Coldplay a déclaré : « Nous sommes extrêmement reconnaissants envers tous les artistes incroyables qui ont prêté leur génie visuel à  ce film. Ils ont créé quelque chose de très beau et nous en sommes extrêmement fiers ».

A FILM FOR THE FUTURE est présenté en avant-première à  Lightroom Londres, Lightroom Séoul  et  Aviva Studios, Factory International Manchester à  partir du 22 janvier 2025. Dans chaque salle Lightroom, une technologie audio de pointe et une projection de 11 m de haut sur 4 murs et le sol permettront aux visiteurs d’être pleinement immergés dans l’expérience visuelle et audio.

Ce spectacle de divertissement musical, produit en 2009, permet de (re)découvrir et vibrer sur plusieurs des plus grands succès du groupe de rock irlandais, comme « Where the Streets Have No Name », « With or Without You », « Beautiful Day », « Mysterious Ways » et « Elevation », entre autres.
