L’exposition virtuelle, conçue par Universal Museum of Art, le Clic France et 65 musées et lieux culturels français, a franchi le cap des 350 000 visiteurs uniques, depuis sa mise en ligne le 3 juillet 2020. Ce qui en fait l’un des expositions virtuelles les plus visitées dans le monde. Pour amplifier encore son audience et l’engagement de ses visiteurs, l’exposition « De la Renaissance au XXe, les chefs d’œuvre de la peinture dans les musées français » a fait l’objet de 3 opérations de promotion, en décembre 2020, en partenariat avec ses musées partenaires, l’Institut Français, Connaissance des Arts et la boutique en ligne de la RMN-GP. Depuis son lancement, l’exposition numérique qui associe le plus d’institutions partenaires a également reçu le soutien des médias et des musées français. En voici la revue du web.
