La chaà®ne internationale ikonoTV débarque en France et lance son e-festival en streaming

«Je prends au sérieux l’idée naà¯ve que l’art doit être accessible à tout le monde » C’est animée par ce désir d’apporter l’art dans le quotidien de chacun qu’Elizabeth Markevitch, fondatrice d’ikono, lance ikonoTV avec free sur le canal 150.

Déjà présente en Allemagne, en Italie, en Autriche, en Suisse, mais aussi en Afrique du Nord, au Moyen-Orient et en Asie du sud avec sa chaà®ne ikonoMenasa, ikono est une plateforme média entièrement consacrée à l’art, basée à Berlin et fondée en 2006 par Elizabeth Markevitch.

Intégralement diffusée en HD et 24/7, la programmation d’ikonoTV est le fruit de la coopération unique d’experts, de commissaires d’expositions et d’artistes internationaux. Elle est rendue possible gr ce à un accès privilégié aux archives du monde entier et aux collections des plus grands musées. On y découvre une succession de films ou courts métrages de tous les genres et de toutes les époques, de l’Antiquité à nos jours, de la sculpture au dessin, de la peinture à l’architecture et à la vidéo. Ikono On Air Festival (du 6 au 29 septembre) est le 1er festival audiovisuel dédié à l’art, diffusé 24/7 à la télévision.

Pendant trois semaines, du 6 au 29 septembre, et pour la première fois dans l’histoire du petit écran, plus de 200 heures d’art vidéo contemporain et de video-clips d’oeuvres classiques seront diffusées en live 24 heures sur 24 sur ikonoTV.

Curateurs participants : ikono On Air Festival est dirigé par Jack Pam en collaboration avec d’éminents professionnels du monde de l’art : Karin Adrian van Roques (DE), Manuela Benetton (IT), Paolo Colombo (IT), Olafur Eliasson/Little Sun (IS/DK), Nadine Gandy (F/SVK), Omar Kholeif (UK), Kathy Rae Huffman (USA/DE), Nadim Samman (UK/DE), Berta Sichel (BR/ES), Julia Sà¶keland (DE), Adelina von Fà¼rstenberg (AM/CH). Le festival est organisé en partenariat avec le Centre Pompidou et un grand nombre d’institutions culturelles dans le monde.

150 artistes enthousiastes témoignent leur confiance à ikono en participant à ce festival. Au-delà des nombreux artistes internationaux confirmés comme Bill Viola, Alfredo Jaar, Anthony McCall, ce festival donnera également l’occasion de découvrir le travail d’artistes en devenir.
