UMA, le CLIC France et 64 institutions culturelles s’associent pour créer et diffuser la plus grande exposition virtuelle française

Le 3 juillet 2020, la plus grande exposition virtuelle jamais produite en France a été mise en ligne par Universal Museum of Art UMA et le CLIC France. « De la Renaissance au XXe siècle, les chefs-d’oeuvre de la peinture dans les musées français » présente 150 oeuvres de 100 artistes, « prêtées » par 64 musées partenaires et « accrochées » dans 11 galeries thématiques. Cette ambitieuse initiative culturelle numérique collective avait été initiée par le CLIC France à l’occasion de ses 10 ans !

Conçu par et avec la plateforme Universal Museum of Art (UMA), ce « musée des musées français imaginaire » vise à présenter en France et dans le Monde la richesse et la variété des collections de peintures des principaux musées français, et au premier rang desquels les membres du CLIC France.

Pour la première fois, 64 musées de France sélectionnent leurs plus grands chefs-d’œuvre pour participer à une exposition virtuelle unique. Ils s’unissent pour donner vie à un projet culturel numérique. Ils participent à la sélection des œuvres, au commissariat et à la communication d’une exposition en réalité virtuelle.

Il s’agit donc -à ce jour- de l’initiative numérique rassemblant le plus grand nombre de musées en France.

Avec cette sélection inédite de 150 œuvres majeures, pour la première fois, 64 musées français s’unissent pour donner vie à un projet culturel numérique. Ce projet met en lumière le rôle précurseur des musées français dans l’innovation culturelle numérique.

2 à 5 chefs d’œuvres par musée partenaire

Les musées de 58 villes de France ont sélectionné 2 à 5 de leurs chefs-d’œuvre pour cette exposition collégiale qui révèle l’exceptionnelle richesse des collections françaises.

A travers dix thèmes, l’exposition parcourt cinq siècles de peinture et évoque les grandes évolutions artistiques, du portrait au tableau d’histoire ; du paysage à la représentation du corps. Une scénographie 3D audacieuse, affranchie de toute contrainte, structure le parcours de visite.

Avec le soutien de l’Institut Français, l’exposition -disponible en français et anglais- sera largement diffusée à l’international comme vitrine des collections françaises.

Des contenus pédagogiques, facilement accessibles, et à destination des enseignants, accompagneront prochainement le projet. Une diffusion dans des réseaux d’hôpitaux et de transports est également prévue.

En un mot, la démocratisation culturelle, made in France, accessible partout, tout le temps, sur tous les appareils !

Dans le cadre du 10ème anniversaire du CLIC France

Ce musée virtuel avait imaginé par le CLIC France dans le cadre de son 10ème anniversaire et le projet a été lancé en 2018, avec une annonce officielle lors des RNCI 2018 du mercredi 26 septembre 2018, à Paris.

Prévue le 1er mai, la sortie de l’exposition a été décalée au 3 juillet 2020 en raison de la crise du covid-19

Les équipes d’UMA ont produit l’expérience virtuelle et en assure la diffusion et le marketing sur leurs 2 plateformes (site web et application mobile). Le CLIC France a mobilisé sa communauté afin de constituer la plus belle collection virtuelle des chefs d’oeuvres des musées de France et de la promouvoir auprès du plus large public.
