XR Art Fair: le NewImages Festival lance le 1er marché pour la distribution des œuvres immersives

L’initiative annoncée le 15 février 2022 est développée par NewImages Festival avec le soutien de Creative Europe. Elle s’adresse aux curateur ·rices de musées, programmateur ·rices culturels et artistes spécialisé ·es dans le champ de la création immersive.

« Notre ambition première est aujourd’hui d’activer un réseau de distribution européen et international qui permettra de soutenir ces nouvelles formes de création et de favoriser la circulation des œuvres« expliquent les organisateurs du NewImages Festival.

Gr ce à ce nouvel événement XR Art Fair, NewImages Festival (dont le CLIC France est partenaire) se positionne ainsi comme le premier rendez-vous professionnel dans le monde entièrement dédié à la distribution des œuvres immersives.

Un marché … deux publics

. les Decision Makers à la recherche de projets immersifs à distribuer au sein d’un musée ou d’un lieu culturel. Il constitue une formidable opportunité de s’initier aux techniques de l’art immersif, d’acquérir les grilles de lecture propres à cette nouvelle forme artistique et de découvrir chaque année une sélection d’oeuvres innovantes spécialement conçues pour une distribution physique et soigneusement retenues par l’équipe du festival.

. les porteur ·euses d’un projet XR finalisé, producteurs ou distributeurs peuvent s’inscrire à l’appel à projets et multiplier leurs chances de rencontrer leurs prochains distributeurs. La XR Art Fair représente une occasion unique de multiplier les rencontres avec des curateur ·rices et programmateur ·rices du monde entier afin de leur présenter les créations qu’ils/elles sont susceptibles de distribuer.

XR Art Fair – Appel à projets

La XR Art Fair est ouvert à :

. toutes les formes de création immersive, quelle que soit sa forme (film, jeu, œuvre interactive, performance, installation artistique, etc.), explore de nouvelles formes de narration par le biais des technologies XR (VR, AR, MR) ou à travers des dispositifs immersifs et/ou innovants (son binaural, IA, etc.),

. tout projet finalisé (quelle que soit la date) et ayant déjà été distribué au moins une fois,

. tout projet conçu pour une distribution / exposition physique.

Appel à projets gratuit et non sélectif (merci de vérifier au préalable les critères d’éligibilité). Achat obligatoire d’un stand virtuel pour chaque œuvre présentée au XR Art Fair (100 ‚¬ TTC ou 83,33 ‚¬ HT). Accréditation obligatoire de chaque participant

Le XR Art Fair se déroulera à Paris et en ligne à partir du mois de mai 2022 et s’inscrira dans le cadre de la 5^ème édition de NewImages Festival.

Le format du programme est pensé de telle manière qu’il permet à tou ·tes les participant ·es (présent ·es physiquement ou en ligne) de pouvoir bénéficier d’une qualité de service optimale et de tirer le meilleur parti de l’événement.

Avec la création du XR Art Fair, le XR Financing Market change de nom pour devenir XR Development Market.

La plateforme de rencontres unique en son genre reste inchangée et continue de soutenir les porteur ·euses de projets XR dans leur recherche de financement et/ou de co-production.

Le XR Development Market est ouvert à tout projet d’œuvre :
