La RMN-Grand Palais et la Cité des Sciences organisent le premier Hackathon artistique du Fab Lab, dédié à  l’art de Gauguin, en coopération avec le CLIC France. Lors du week-end du 13 au 14 janvier 2018, artistes, geeks, développeurs, étudiants ou professionnels peuvent s’inscrire  pour revisiter et remixer les oeuvres du peintre et sculpteur, Gauguin.  Cet hackathon est gratuit, accessible à  tous à  partir de 15 ans, mais également aux plus jeunes accompagnés d’un adulte.

Les participants seront accueillis au sein du Fab Lab, situé au Carrefour Numérique de la Cité des Sciences. Individuellement, ou en équipe, ils auront à  leur disposition tout l’équipement et les machines du Fab Lab. Les participants pourront alors transformer, revisiter et personnaliser les peintures et sculptures de Gauguin.

Les travaux, esquisses, oeuvres augmentées, détournées, gravées, imprimées … seront exposés dans la Galerie du Carrefour  numérique ² le dimanche 14 janvier 2018 à  partir de 16h.

Une expérience de création unique

Gr ce à  cet hackathon, les participants auront l’occasion de vivre une expérience de création unique, en revisitant une des oeuvres célèbres parmi la sélection  réalisée par la RMN-GP.  Cet événement donne également l’occasion de (re)découvrir des oeuvres patrimoniales, mais aussi de créer de nouveaux usages artistiques collaboratifs éphémères en s’emparant du lieu et en l’habillant artistiquement le temps d’un événement exceptionnel.

Les participants seront accompagnés par de nombreux professionnels de la  conservation,  valorisation patrimoniale, recherche en histoire de l’art, du design ou encore de la modélisation 3D et fabrication numérique. .
