Fidèle à sa volonté de tendre des passerelles entre les esthétiques et d’inviter à l’échange, La Seine Musicale continue de proposer des créations, à la croisée des genres et des disciplines artistiques : musiques, danse, improvisation, poésie et de plus avec une forte dimension numérique. Pour l’automne 2025, le lieu culturel du département des Hauts de Seine accueille ainsi 2 expériences immersives. « Le Bal de Paris » de Blanca Li revient à Paris en s’installant à partir du 23 Septembre 2025 à La Seine Musicale, pour un nombre limité de sessions. Au même moment, l’espace d’expérimentation SeineLab propose l’oeuvre poétique et sensorielle « Plant Being ».

Plant Being, une oeuvre poétique et sensorielle (Du 21 septembre 2025 au 17 janvier 2026)

Pour l’ouverture de la saison 2025-2026 autour de la thématique À l’écoute de l’invisible, le SeineLab accueille l’installation Plant Being. Cette œuvre poétique et sensorielle explore la relation de l’être humain au végétal, révélant ainsi tout un monde invisible.

La nouvelle installation audiovisuelle Plant Being est entièrement générée par une plante dont l’activité électrique naturelle est captée en temps réel, et transformée de manière onirique en sons et en images. Suivie en direct, l’activité de la plante est rendue visible de façon perceptible à l’humain : l’interaction avec le public modifie le flux électrique produit par l’organisme qui est retranscrit auditivement et visuellement. Un moniteur permet de suivre l’évolution de ce flux, explorant ainsi le lien unique qui nous unit au végétal.

La technologie devient un outil au service de l’évolution de la conscience humaine sur son environnement. Au-delà de l’expérience sensorielle, Plant Being sème les graines d’un futur désirable dans lequel la technologie est utilisée pour redonner sa place à la nature.

Dans cette installation poétique et sensorielle, tout un monde invisible se révèle. Phygital Studio, spécialisé dans l’innovation artistique et technologique, traduit ainsi en une création sonore et visuelle l’activité électrique d’une plante pour explorer notre relation au végétal – une œuvre vivante où art, nature, et technologie se rencontrent.

Parmi ses réalisations phares, Plant Being est l’œuvre d’une équipe composée de Théo Brice (direction artistique), Juliette Lefay (productrice), Nil Draloscona (design interactif), Dorian Picard (ingénierie R&D), et Antoine Chrétien (composition musicale).

Cette programmation s’inscrit également dans le cadre de Némo – Biennale internationale des arts numériques de la Région Île-de-France, produite par le CENTQUATRE-PARIS, du 11 octobre 2025 au 11 janvier 2026 dans 24 lieux en Île-de-France.

Les artistes et scientifiques invités par Phygital Studio autour de Plant Being

La présentation de l’installation Plant Being au SeineLab est l’opportunité d’inviter différents artistes et scientifiques autour de la thématique de la sensibilité des végétaux. Le public y trouvera un texte écrit par la poétesse Océane Perrin, une illustration de l’artiste Weronika Anna Marianna, une structure en mycélium de Côme Dimeglio, ainsi qu’un texte rédigé par les scientifiques en biologie végétal du LIED (Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire des Energies de Demain, unité mixte de recherche CNRS) : Delphine Bonin et François Bouteau.

Afin de mieux comprendre la nature des signaux perçus et de rendre accessible la connaissance scientifique sur la sensibilité des plantes, Phygital Studio a travaillé en partenariat avec le LIED (Delphine Bonin et François Bouteau). Cette initiative, initiée et suivie par le CNRS, a conduit à la création d’une médiation scientifique destinée au grand public.

Le Bal de Paris de Bianca Li (à partir du 23/09/2025)

Le Bal de Paris de Blanca Li revient à Paris. A partir du 23 Septembre 2025, le spectacle immersif imaginé par la célèbre danseuse et chorégraphe s’installe à La Seine Musicale, pour un nombre limité de sessions.

Le spectacle vivant et immersif en réalité virtuelle est devenu un phénomène et effectue depuis 2021 une tournée mondiale, de Paris (première parisienne à Chaillot, Théâtre National de la Danse) à Taïwan, en passant par Londres, Liège, Rennes, Shanghai, Rome, Singapour ou Genève.

Ce retour en France permet de (re)vivre ce « bijou d’expérience immersive » et de le (re)découvrir avec un matériel allégé et donc plus de confort.

Avec Le Bal de Paris de Blanca Li, la réalité virtuelle a révolutionné le monde du spectacle vivant et gommé la frontière entre les spectateurs et les danseurs. Récompensée à la Mostra de Venise « meilleure expérience VR » en 2021, cette création immersive mêle danse, musique, haute-couture et réalité virtuelle dans un spectacle où le public devient acteur.

Casques sur la tête, capteurs sur le corps, les spectateurs – seulement douze par session – sont guidés par des danseurs professionnels dans un voyage chorégraphique et onirique. Entre valse et cancan, chacun est invité à entrer dans la danse et à participer au grand bal de Paris, où se succèdent des tableaux d’une poésie vibrante pour une expérience festive, artistique et spectaculaire !

Pour cette œuvre immersive, la Maison CHANEL a réalisé les costumes virtuels des danseurs et du public, prolongeant son lien intime à la danse et à la création contemporaine. Avant d’entrer dans le bal, le danseur choisit sa tenue dans un boudoir virtuel, une robe ou un tailleur sélectionnés parmi les créations de la Maison et reproduits en 3D.

Cette grande histoire d’amour découpée en 3 actes est à vivre avec 11 autres spectateurs. Deux danseurs jouant les rôles principaux de l’intrigue invitent, tour à tour, à une valse ou encore un cancan.

A propos du SeineLab

Créé en 2023 par le Département des Hauts-de-Seine, le SeineLab impulse un développement culturel et social innovant, à destination de tous les publics, sur les temps d’ouverture de La Seine Musicale.

Grâce au SeineLab, le Département des Hauts-de-Seine permet à tous les publics de s’approprier l’innovation musicale par l’expérimentation.

Lieu d’exploration autour des interactions sonores et du design d’interaction homme-machine, il propose au public d’écouter, d’apprendre, et de manipuler des installations, et de découvrir des œuvres en cours de création. Le SeineLab favorise la rencontre du public avec la création contemporaine et permet à chacun de s’approprier l’innovation musicale par l’expérimentation et des démarches créatives. Un ensemble de rendez-vous, d’actions culturelles, d’ateliers pédagogiques sont aussi proposés au public scolaire, au jeune public (à partir de 4 ans) et aux familles autour du traitement du son, du design sonore et de l’intelligence artificielle, en partenariat avec l’Ircam-Centre Pompidou. laseinemusicale.com/seinelab

A propos de Phygital Studio

Phygital Studio est un studio créatif, fondé en 2024 par Juliette Lefay et Théo Brice, spécialisé dans la création d’expériences immersives mêlant art, nature et technologie. Incubé au 104 factory du CENTQUATRE-PARIS, ses projets explorent la relation entre nature et innovation technologique en collaboration avec des chercheurs, des institutions scientifiques et des artistes. Phygital est la contraction de physique et digital. Ce nom reflète la philosophie du studio : « utiliser le digital pour mettre en lumière notre monde physique » en révélant l’invisible, pour mieux comprendre ce qui nous entoure, et réveiller la magie du vivant. Dans leurs installations, la pièce centrale est toujours physique ; le numérique n’est là que pour la sublimer.
