Un nouveau site internet pour valoriser et promouvoir les musées de la région Occitanie

En novembre 2017, dans la logique du nouveau découpage régional, l’Association des Conservateurs Midi-Pyrénées a fusionné avec l’Association des Conservateurs Languedoc-Roussillon pour devenir «Occitanie Musées – Association des Conservateurs et Personnels Scientifiques des Musées d’Occitanie ». Quelques mois plus tard, l’association rassemble plus de 130 musées sur le site internet musées-occitanie.fr.

Cette nouvelle structure rassemble près d’une centaine de professionnels des musées, oeuvrant ainsi à la valorisation et la mise en réseau de musées de la région.

Un site web complet

Le site musées-occitanie.fr regroupe 132 musées d’Occitanie et offre ainsi un panorama inédit des musées de la région.

Le site propose de nombreuses informations (descriptif des musées, localisation géographique,horaires et tarifs…) dans le but de permettre aux visiteurs de préparer leur visite.

Une carte interactive permet également de faciliter le repérage. Les musées sont aussi classés par thème pour une meilleure visibilité. Ce sont les musées eux-mêmes qui alimentent les informations du site.

L’Occitanie : une région riche en musées

La région possède 132 musées labellisés « Musée de France », répartis sur une centaine de villes et 13 départements. C’est également une des premières régions de France en terme de fréquentation des musées avec plus de 3 millions de visiteurs par an.
