Le 27 octobre 2022, Wikimédia France lance l’appel à  candidatures pour le Label Culture Libre, premier label dédié aux institutions culturelles qui intègrent l’open content et le collaboratif dans leurs pratiques numériques. Ce projet s’inscrit dans une démarche globale de sensibilisation dont la première étape a été la publication du rapport sur l’Open Content publié en avril 2022. En 2023, le dispositif de Wikimédia France sera complété par un observatoire dédié à  la Culture Libre. Le CLIC est partenaire du label et de l’observatoire.

Pour accompagner et valoriser les démarches d’ouverture et de partage des collections, Wikimédia France lance Culture Libre, premier label s’adressant aux musées, bibliothèques et archives, dédié dont il récompense les démarches d’open content et de numérique collaboratif.

Du choix de la licence libre à  la prise en main d’outils numériques collaboratifs, ce parcours exprime la convergence des besoins opérationnels des institutions culturelles et l’évolution des usages du grand public.

Ce label est le premier dédié aux institutions culturelles qui intègrent l’open content  et les  projets Wikimedia  dans leurs pratiques numériques.

Le Label Culture libre récompense et valide ces démarches selon 3 niveaux traduisant chacun un palier d’investissements à  concrétiser. Cette méthode accompagne les GLAM dans une logique d’évolution et les incite à  prioriser leurs actions.

Le jury est composé de 5 professionnels de la culture et du libre:

Afin de mieux comprendre les enjeux de l’initiative et les démarches pour candidater, les professionnels sont invités à  participer à  un webinaire spécialement dédié le 24 novembre 2022, à  10.00. Inscription en ligne ouverte.

Le label Culture Libre est soutenu par 3 partenaires : Club Innovation & Culture CLIC, Creative Commons et Inno3.

En complément du label et du   « Rapport sur l’open content dans les institutions culturelles en France €“ à‰tat des lieux des pratiques numériques et d’ouverture de contenus » publié en avril 2022, Wikimedia France initie également un Observatoire de l’open content, qui sera lancé en début d’année 2023.

L’observatoire réunira des spécialistes de l’open content venant de différents horizons et des représentants d’institutions culturelles.

Ses missions consisteront à  analyser l’évolution de ces pratiques numériques institutionnelles et à  sensibiliser aux enjeux de l’open content.
