La 8ème édition du Video Mapping Festival se déroulera d’avril à octobre 2025, dans la région Hauts-de-France

Le Video Mapping Festival revient en 2025 pour une 8ème édition dans toute la région Hauts-de-France. Unique événement entièrement consacré à  cette discipline artistique en constante évolution, le Festival a pour ambition de présenter le mapping vidéo sous toutes ses formes (mapping monumental, sur objet, immersif, interactif) et propose des contenus destinés au grand public, ainsi qu’aux professionnels internationaux.

[EVENT PARTENAIRE] Le CLIC est partenaire de la journée du vendredi 4 avril 2025, consacrée au mapping vidéo dans les Musées, avec notamment une table-ronde réunissant des représentants du Musée d’Art de Cleveland, du Dali Museum de Floride et du Palais des Beaux Arts de Lille. L’édition 2025 démarrera à  Lille le 4 et 5 avril 2025. Des évènements seront ensuite déployés dans une vingtaine de villes dans la région Hauts de France, d’avril à octobre 2025, jusqu’à la clôture à  Amiens le vendredi 17 et samedi 18 octobre 2025, avec un parcours dans la ville.

Des ateliers participatifs de création mapping seront disponibles pour les habitants des différents territoires accueillant le Festival ainsi que des challenges créatifs et ateliers vidéo mapping à destination des étudiants des écoles d’animation régionales et internationales.

Une vingtaine de créations seront à  découvrir pendant 2 soirées, à  travers un parcours dans le centre-ville. . Distance totale : 3,5 km environ
. Toutes les créations sont diffusées en boucle de 21h à  1h vendredi 4 et samedi 5 avril.
. L’ensemble du parcours est gratuit. Les mapping en extérieur sont en accès libre. Attente possible pour les mapping en intérieur (Opéra de Lille, Préfecture du Nord, Lycée Fénelon) ; pas de réservation.
. Pour une meilleure expérience, il est conseillé d’effectuer le parcours dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre.

Dès le mois d’avril 2025, une vingtaine de villes de la région accueillent le Festival pour des mapping vidéo inédits (monumentaux, immersifs, parcours…) qui mettent en lumière les spécificités de chaque territoire en valorisant leur patrimoine.

A l’occasion du Video Mapping Festival #8, les Rencontres Audiovisuelles proposent IBSIC, Image Beyond the Screen International Conference, le rendez-vous annuel international de référence dédié à  la filière mapping, en présence des grands noms de la profession. Rencontres, études de cas, tables rondes, groupes de travail, projections… Une quarantaine d’intervenants partagent leurs expériences et décortiquent les différentes facettes de cette jeune filière en pleine évolution. Des temps de networking sont également proposés pour rencontrer artistes, producteurs, diffuseurs etc.

En 2025, IBSIC met à  l’honneur le mapping immersif et le mapping en milieu muséal, en partenariat avec le CLIC.

Le Video Mapping Festival est un événement organisé par l’association Rencontres Audiovisuelles.

Les Rencontres Audiovisuelles se consacrent depuis 1998 aux nouvelles images en région Hauts-de-France :
. Diffusion : l’association produit le Festival International du Court Métrage, assure la programmation annuelle d’une salle de projection à  Lille (L’hybride), et propose de nombreuses actions de diffusion en région.
. Education : les Rencontres Audiovisuelles mettent en place des projections pédagogiques (dont un programme itinérant de courts métrages, Ciné Soupe, et des projections scolaires), des actions de sensibilisation, des ateliers de création audiovisuelle et des ateliers de pratique artistique autour de l’éducation aux images et aux médias, et proposent un accompagnement des parents et des professionnels dans l’usage des écrans par les plus jeunes (Ma famille et les écrans).
. Innovation : l’association, via le Video Mapping European Center, accompagne le développement de la filière video mapping en Europe et notamment en région Hauts-de-France, par la recherche, la formation et la création et des événements.
