Préservatif, lentille de contact et robe … le Rijksmuseum révèle les 10 finalistes de son Prix Rijksstudio 2017

Le 23 mars 2017, le Rijksmuseum a annoncé les 10 finalistes de son prix Rijksstudio 2017. Au total, 2.600 personnes ont participé au concours créatif inspiré de la collection Rijksmuseum et basé sur l’utilisation de son site web Rijksstudio. La tendance frappante de l’édition 2017 du concours est la croissance du nombre de créations hors Pays-Bas. Les créateurs finalistes sont ainsi issus de neuf pays différents. Le 21 Avril, le jury international d’experts annoncera le gagnant et révèlera le prix du public lors d’un évenement au Rijksmuseum.

Le prix Rijksstudio a été présenté le 21 avril 2017 lors d’une cérémonie au Rijksmuseum.

Masterpieces Never Sleep, le masque de nuit inspiré par l’oeuvre de Johannes Cornelisz Verspronck Portrait of a Girl Dressed in Blue a remporté le Rijksstudio Award 2017, prix du design international Rijksmuseum.

Les créations retenues comme finalistes sont toutes inspirés de la collection Rijksmuseum et basés sur l’utilisation des images du site web Rijksstudio.

Spectacle de danse, lentilles de contact et préservatifs sont 3 des créations les plus originales de l’édition 2017.

Prix du €‹ €‹public et du jury

Le public peut également voter en ligne entre le 24 mars 2017 et le 20 avril 2017, avec une chance de gagner un bon d’achat de 50 euros. Le gagnant du prix du public sera annoncé lors de la présentation du prix Rijksstudio le 21 Avril. Le gagnant du Prix du public est déterminé par le nombre de votes exprimés en ligne et est différent des 3 prix décernés par le jury d’experts. Le gagnant du Prix du public recevra un prix de 1 000 ‚¬.

Le gagnant du Prix Rijksstudio remportera un prix de 10 000 ‚¬ et sera annoncé le 21 Avril 2017. Les deuxième et troisième prix recevront 2 500 ‚¬ et 1 500 ‚¬.

Le jury 2017 est composé de Taco Dibbits, directeur général du Rijksmuseum en Président du Jury; Irma Boom, directrice du bureau de style Irma Boom; Tony Chambers, rédacteur en chef du magazine Wallpaper ; Thomas Widdershoven, ancien directeur de la Design Academy Eindhoven; Ute Thon, rédacteur en Chef de ART- Das Kunstmagazin et Ingrid Chou; directeur adjoint de la création au MoMA de NYC.

3ème édition du Prix €‹ €‹Rijksstudio

Le Prix Rijksstudio a été lancé en 2014.

Comme l’explique le musée d’Amsterdam: « Avec le lancement de son site web Rijksstudio, le Rijksmuseum a acquis une position innovante inédite dans le domaine de la culture visuelle numérique et de la création ouverte. Les participants peuvent utiliser plus de 300.000 images numériques que le Rijksmuseum offre gratuitement et libre de droits sur son site web Rijksstudio ».

Le Rijksmuseum a remporté plusieurs prix nationaux et internationaux depuis le lancement de son Rijksstudio le 1er Novembre 2012, y compris les grands prix néerlandais Design Award, Interactive Awards, et le Golden European Design Award.
