Le jeudi 3 décembre 2020, Art Explora et l’Académie des beaux-arts ont dévoilé les 3 lauréats du Prix européen, placé sous le patronage du ministère de la Culture, pour favoriser le partage des arts et de la culture avec chacun. Pour sa première édition 2020, 350 candidatures ont été reçues de 20 pays européens. Parmi elles, une présélection de 30 projets a été réalisée par l’équipe Art Explora et des bénévoles de la Fondation. Les 3 lauréats sont le Mucem, le Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza Madrid et National Gallery Londres

Dotée de 150 000 ‚¬, cette première édition 2020 du Prix européen Art Explora €“ Académie des beaux-arts récompensera 3 lauréats: 1er Prix : 80 000 ‚¬, 2ème Prix : 50 000 ‚¬ et 3ème Prix : 20 000 ‚¬.

1er prix: MUCEM (France) / 80 000 ‚¬

Destination MUCEM / Mise en place tous les dimanches d’un bus gratuit pour favoriser l’accès au MUCEM depuis des quartiers excentrés

Le Musée des Civilisations de l’Europe et de la Méditerranée (MUCEM) est pensé comme une cité
culturelle au cœur de Marseille. Il représente le foisonnement culturel social, scientifique et politique
du monde méditerranéen et propose de grandes expositions artistiques, historiques et thématiques et de nombreux rendez-vous à destination de tous.

Sur le projet :

Destination Mucem est un dispositif inédit de mobilité des publics éloignés : tous les dimanches, un
bus gratuit est mis en place depuis des quartiers excentrés, permettant à de nouveaux publics de
créer un lien privilégié avec le musée. Une médiation personnalisée et ludique est proposée pendant
le trajet et prépare la visite, dans une ambiance conviviale.

La remise de billets gratuits à l’arrivée
permet au public de visiter les expositions et de découvrir l’offre culturelle du musée. Le bus
desservira 4 itinéraires différents, à l’échelle du territoire étendu de la ville, et son passage sera
préparé par une large campagne de communication auprès des acteurs locaux et structures sociales
de chaque quartier.

2ème Prix : Thyssen-Bornemisza (Espagne) / 50 000 ‚¬

#VersionaThyssen / Appeler les 16-35 ans à réinterpréter à leur manière les œuvres du musée et à poster cette réinterprétation sur les réseaux sociaux avec le #VersionaThyssen.

Le Musée national Thyssen-Bornemisza abrite au Palais de Villahermosa à Madrid, la collection Thyssen-Bornemisza, propriété de l’à‰tat espagnol avec près de neuf cents œuvres d’art allant du XIIIe au XXe siècle.

Le projet :

Ce projet a déjà connu 7 éditions et une 8ème est en cours. Lors de chaque édition, le musée propose à des jeunes de réinterpréter librement une ou plusieurs œuvres de ses collections, et de poster le résultat sur les réseaux sociaux avec le hashtag #VersionaThyssen.

Un jury composé d’artistes professionnels désigne les lauréats. Les créations sont valorisées lors de soirées festives au musée ou lors de cérémonies numériques avec la COVID-19. Plus de 5 000 réinterprétations ont déjà été proposées.

3ème Prix : National Gallery London (Royaume-Uni) / 20 000 ‚¬

La National Gallery est l’un des plus grands musées d’art au monde. Fondé par le Parlement en 1824, la National Gallery abrite l’une des plus grandes collections de peintures au monde, qui emmène les visiteurs dans un voyage à travers l’art d’Europe occidentale sur sept siècles, du XIIIe au XXe siècle(Léonard de Vinci, Michel-Ange, Velà zquez, Titien, Rembrandt, Turner, Monet, Van Gogh €¦). Les principaux objectifs du musée sont l’enrichissement de la collection, sa conservation et son accessibilité à tous les visiteurs.

National Gallery : Jan Van Huysum Visits €¦ est la suite du projet très réussi de 2019 Artemisia Visits €¦
Pour Artemisia Visits €¦ L’Autoportrait en sainte Catherine d’Alexandrie (vers 1615-1617) d’Artemisia a été présenté dans cinq lieux inhabituels et inattendus non muséaux à travers le Royaume -Uni : un cabinet médical, une école de filles, une prison pour femmes et deux bibliothèques. Un tableau du XVIIe, provenant d’une collection nationale n’avait jamais été exposé de cette façon auparavant, ce qui en fait un projet unique.

En 2021, la National Gallery fera la tournée de Flowers in a Terracotta Vase (1736-1737) de Jan van Huysum. Ce tableau du XVIIIe siècle fera son apparition dans six nouveaux lieux insolites du Royaume-Uni. L’objectif est de promouvoir le bien-être et de sensibiliser des communautés intergénérationnelles, notamment celles qui sont les plus touchées par la COVID 19 comme les jeunes défavorisés et les adultes socialement isolés. La National Gallery travaillera avec des partenaires culturels et communautaires locaux.
