Les Webby Awards 2016 récompensent le Museo del Prado, le LACMA, le MET, la Smithsonian et l’expérience Dreams of Dali

Le mardi 26 avril 2016, l’International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences a designé les vrainqueurs des 20èmes webby awards. Deux institutions culturelles françaises étaient nominées, mais n’ont finalement pas reçues de récompenses. Les Webby Awards ont notamment été attribuées aux institutions muséales Museo del Prado, LACMA, MET et Smithsonian ainsi qu’à l’expérience Dreams of Dali.

La 20ème édition des Webby Awards a reçu plus de 13.000 candidatures venant de 65 pays. Cette année, The Webby People’s Voice Awards, le prix spécial décerné par les internautes, a attiré plus de 2.300.000 votes.

Le gif de l’année 2016, décerné en partenariat avec la plateforme Giphy, rend hommage à David Bowie.
