L’Institut polonais Frédéric Chopin va numériser l’ensemble de l’oeuvre du grand compositeur romantique faisant partie de ses collections. L’ensemble de ces données seront accessibles gratuitement par tous sur une plateforme en ligne. Partitions, archives phonographiques, photographiques … près de 40 000 objets seront en ligne d’ici 2020.

L’Institut polonais Frédéric Chopin va numériser gr ce à des technologies avancées l’ensemble du patrimoine du grand compositeur romantique faisant partie de ses collections. D’ici à 2020, le compositeur Frédéric Chopin sera l’un des premiers dont l’ensemble de l’oeuvre sera disponible dans une version numérisée.

Plus de 40 000 objets numérisés

Ce sont donc près de 40 000 objets, inscrits au patrimoine de l’Unesco qui seront accessibles, dont les partitions de Chopin, des ouvrages et articles consacrés au compositeur, ses manuscrits et autographes, des photographies, des peintures mais également des archives phonographiques enregistrées lors de tous les concours internationaux de Frédéric Chopin, ainsi que pendant les festivals « Chopin et son Europe », en versions téléchargeables.

Les visiteurs mélomanes ou amateurs, pourront accéder facilement et gratuitement à toutes ces archives, à travers une plateforme disponible en anglais et en français, qui sera équipées d’outils et d’interfaces avancés de recherche, d’analyse et de traitement du contenu.

Une interface innovante pour les musiciens

L’Institut Polonais a mis au point un logiciel novateur en collaboration avec l’Université américaine Stanford. Les internautes pourront non seulement faire une recherche précise d’une partition ou d’un extrait, les télécharger en bonne résolution, mais également s’adonner à toute sorte d’analyses ou comparaisons mélodique, rythmique, harmonique ou structurelle du contenu.

Cette plateforme espère devenir un outil précieux pour les musiciens et musicologues.

Le projet est par ailleurs cofinancé par l’Union Européenne.
