Le 4ème atelier du Think Tank €œLieux culturels et métavers €, co-piloté par NewImages Festival et le CLIC a eu lieu le 14 mars, de 9.30 à  13.00, au Forum des Images.  Ce 4ème atelier portait sur les modèles économiques existants ou à  venir pour assurer la pérennité des métavers, et l’aspect juridique et éthique de leur création et utilisation. La matinée a été cloturée par une présentation de l’Appel A Projets « Culture immersive et métavers » par le Secrétariat général pour l’investissement,  Bpifrance et la Délégation aux entreprises culturelles, Direction générale des médias et des industries culturelles, Ministère de la Culture.

Annoncé en juin 2023 par le Emmanuel Macron, l’appel à  projets « Culture immersive et métavers », a été lancé par le Gouvernement le mardi 30 janvier 2024, dans le cadre de France 2030. Opéré par Bpifrance, l’appel vise à  développer la production et la diffusion d’expériences immersives, au service de la démocratisation culturelle et de l’élargissement des publics. Une première étape de candidature est fixée au 2 juillet 2024.
